Point Reyes National Seashore in Northern California is one of the most stunning landscapes in the United States. Wind swept and lush with miles of trails and beaches to roam, my husband and I took our first trip here in celebration of our first anniversary in 2013. I commemorated the day with a series of pastels such as this one, and they remain personal favorites to this day.
